  MU's MARIA SCHNEIDER's COMMITTEE HONORED

  MU's Maria Schneider is the President of the Cincinnati Bar Association committee on Immigration.  The Committee has been awarded the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Ingenuity Award.  The Ingenuity Award is given to a committee which, during the past year, displays a commitment to strengthening its purpose and function through membership development, successful CLE seminars, creative meeting programming and other notable accomplishments.

  H-1B CAP EXPECTED IN EARLY JUNE

  Approximately 36,700 H-1B cap-subject petitions have been received as of May, 11, which is the most recent USCIS update. MU currently is projecting that the H-1B cap of 65,000 will be reached around June 10.

• Apr. 1, 2012 -

  H-1B CAP OPENS APRIL 1

  The H-1B cap has opened April 1, 2012.  The H-1B cap allows 65,000 Regular Petitions and 20,000 US Masters Degree Petitions.
